Business After Hours at the Family Refuge Center
Please plan to join us on Thursday, August 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 as the Family Refuge Center hosts Business After Hours, alongside the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce. Business after hours is an opportunity to connect with business leaders in the community and showcase their business.
The Family Refuge Center is a community-based domestic violence program that serves several counties and areas in Southeast West Virginia including Greenbrier, Pocahontas, and Monroe. The Center serves the tri-county area with a shelter, advocacy office and administrative offices in Lewisburg and outreach offices in Pocahontas and Monroe Counties, as well as in Western Greenbrier County. The FRC is committed to help end physical, sexual and emotional abuse in families, while promoting a healthy family life based on mutual respect and support for all of the family members. ‘Helping Families, Empowering Victims, and Changing Lives’ is FRC’s main focus. The center provides direct services to victims and helps develop community awareness and responsiveness through crisis prevention, advocacy, support, community education, and many outreach programs.
The Business After Hours will be held at the administrative office of the Center at 213 S Jefferson Street in Lewisburg. Heavy appetizers and drinks will be served.
