Chamber Dinner to feature WV Entrepreneur Robin Hildebrand
Robin Hildebrand of Blue Smoke Salsa will be the guest speaker for the Annual Meeting of the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce at The Greenbrier on March 19th.
Robin is the founder and CEO of Blue Smoke Salsa, Inc located in Ansted, WV. The entrepreneurial vision of Robin Hildebrand developed out of necessity for a young mother looking for a second income. Blue Smoke Salsa was born by taking a party favorite recipe and turning it in to a business. The award winning salsa has won many awards including the Best of WV Vendor at Tamarack. Robin has been recognized as WV Entrepreneur of the Year twice. She has diversified her business to now also offer gift baskets, peach salsa, pepper jelly, pepper mustard, apple butter, chef sauce, blackberry jam, chocolate mint coal cookies, and rhubarb jam. She uses local grown producers for her salsas and is an advocate of the Local Foods Initiative. Her salsa can be found locally at Kroger’s and Little General. Her topic will be “How to turn Challenges into Opportunities”.
